Page structure

What a single-page website template has to carry

One page has to make the whole argument. This template keeps six blocks in a deliberate order — who you are, what you offer, proof it works, a way to ask, a closing action, and a footer — and lets you reorder or hide any of them.

Why this page works the way it does

Six blocks, one argument

Hero, benefits, proof, enquiry, closing action, footer. Enough to make a case, few enough that the page stays readable.

Order and visibility are yours

Move any block up or down, or switch it off. A hidden block keeps its content, so turning it back on restores what you wrote.

One rendering, three destinations

The preview, the published page, and the exported HTML file are built from the same structure, so what you approve is what visitors get.

What each block holds

The fields below are the whole editable surface. Knowing them up front tells you whether a single page is the right shape for what you are announcing.

  • HeroBrand name, a short eyebrow line, the headline, a description, one call-to-action button, and an optional hero image.
  • BenefitsExactly three short claims. Three is a deliberate limit: it is what a visitor reads before deciding whether to keep going.
  • Customer proofOne quotation and an attribution line, set in a serif face so it reads differently from the rest of the page.
  • Enquiry formA heading, a prompt, a button label, and the confirmation message. On a published page it stores enquiries in your private inbox and emails an alert.
  • Final actionRepeats the headline with the same call to action, for visitors who read all the way down.
  • FooterOne line of your own text. Hosted pages also carry a small link back to SitePetal; the exported file does not.

What SitePetal does not do

A useful page starts with an accurate promise. These limits apply before you begin.

  • SitePetal builds one page at a time. It does not make multi-page sites, blogs, shops, or membership products.
  • Published pages live at a sitepetal.com address. Custom domains, team workspaces, scheduled publishing, and analytics dashboards are not offered.
  • The three templates are original SitePetal designs, not re-coloured copies of another builder's themes.

Questions about single page website template

Can I add extra sections or custom blocks?

Not today. SitePetal ships these six section types and no block marketplace or embed system. You can reorder and hide them, and change every word inside them.

What happens to a hidden section?

It is left out of the preview, the published page, and the exported file, and its content is kept in the draft. Turning it back on brings the text back unchanged.

Can I use the template without SitePetal hosting?

Yes. Export HTML gives you a single self-contained file with the styles and the hero image inlined. The enquiry form is left out of that file, because a static page has nowhere to deliver a message.
