Worked example

A simple one-page website, published and working

North Star Studio is the example SitePetal publishes for itself. Same six blocks, same renderer, same address format your own page gets — a straightforward reference for what a finished simple page looks like.

Why this page works the way it does

It is genuinely published

The example is served from the same public route as customer pages, at sitepetal.com/p/north-star-studio, with its own search title and description.

Short by design

One headline, one description, three benefits, one quotation, one enquiry, one closing action. Nothing on the page exists to fill space.

The example's form is a preview

North Star Studio is an illustration rather than a real business, so its enquiry form is shown disabled. On your published page the same form accepts and stores messages.

What to look at on the example

Open the published page beside the editor and the relationship is easy to see: every element on the left of the editor maps to one block on the page.

  • The addressPublished pages live at sitepetal.com/p/your-slug. The slug is reserved globally when you create the site and shown in the publish panel before you go live.
  • The proportionsContent width and corner radius are set once in the design panel and apply to the whole page, which is what keeps a one-page layout looking deliberate.
  • The closing actionThe final block repeats the headline and the call to action, so a visitor who read to the bottom does not have to scroll back up.

What SitePetal does not do

A useful page starts with an accurate promise. These limits apply before you begin.

  • SitePetal builds one page at a time. It does not make multi-page sites, blogs, shops, or membership products.
  • Published pages live at a sitepetal.com address. Custom domains, team workspaces, scheduled publishing, and analytics dashboards are not offered.
  • The three templates are original SitePetal designs, not re-coloured copies of another builder's themes.

Questions about simple one page website

Is the example page real?

The page is really published; the studio is not a real client. Its enquiry form is deliberately disabled so nobody sends a message that has nowhere to go.

What address will my page get?

sitepetal.com/p/ followed by the slug you reserve. Custom domains are not offered, so the address stays on SitePetal for as long as the page is hosted here.

Can I have more than one page?

You can keep up to ten separate one-page sites in one account, each with its own address, revisions, and enquiry inbox. SitePetal does not link pages together into a multi-page site with navigation.
